and its over

today is a good day because i am done with spring 2006 term of graduate school! i can hardly believe it. i still feel like i have a ton to learn, but the process is now 1/2 over.

i met my new preceptor, dr. marv rosen, yesterday. he is a very tall, thin, older gentleman who has a gentle spirit. i think i will learn a lot from him--not just because of his knowledge and experience, but likely also from his character. i'll be working with him 16 hours a week beginning june 27.

i am looking forward to my c-group tonight, my birthday party on friday at pix
, and my vacation that begins on saturday. i'll be going to las vegas to visit my best friend from college, Robyn, who has a baby boy, Justin, and then on to austin to see my brother, his wife,my mom and neice, Kai. it'll be a really fun trip of playing with 9 month old babies!

sadly, cv left this morning and we won't see each other until the 25th. at that time he will have a new look on his arm--a huge hokosai wave. pretty amazing.
