long time no see

every day i think of cool things to post, and yet i don't have time. ah well, i should be actually reading right now for class--but i've already avoided it for two hours, so what is the difference.

cv and i had an amazing time at the coast last weekend. i think i've finally learned to love the ocean. the enormous crashing waves and sea gulls were amazing. we enjoyed a warm fire, a room with an ocean view, great meals (for the most part-ask me about my $9 bologna sandwich), and fun laughing at simon and rufus.

today was my second day back in school. so far i really like my faculty and am learning a lot already. taking pathophysiology, adult and child therapy, and 3 credits of practicum at an outpatient clinic. i'll also keep working about 2 days a week at the county health clinic and may pick up a couple of shifts a month at the child and adolescent psych unit nearby.

things at vibrant are really going well, i had a great lunch with my friend, jesse. i can't wait to see what God has in store for all of us this year. a bunch of us from vibrant went swing dancing on monday night and that was a blast. cv really liked it too, so maybe we can make it an occasional thing to do for fun and exercise.

today is my friend Shannon's 31st birthday! she is an amazing friend and i thank God for so obviously putting us together as friends. with who else can i study pharmacology on paper dolls, rock climb, stay up til 4 am talking about nothing, pray, lead worship together and sing the "fried ham" song (only she really knows the words!)?
